EL SALVADOR: Three-year-old Carlos had not left his home in weeks. Lesions in his mouth were so severe that he could not talk, eat or even swallow his own saliva. “A bib caught the uncontrolled drool from his lips,” says missionary Don Triplett, who with his wife, Terri, pastors King’s Castle Dream Center, a year-old church in San Salvador.
During the holiday season, a Dream Center cell group that meets in Alta Vista, one of the city’s most dangerous barrios, made plans to celebrate Christ’s birth with a children’s outreach. They invited the youth from another cell group and gathered to minister at a home in the barrio.
Carlos’ neighbor brought him to the home for prayer. “The young people prayed in faith, and the boy was completely healed,” says Triplett. “Immediately the swelling went down, the drooling stopped and Carlos could talk.”
Carlos’ family was amazed at God’s power. They committed their lives to Christ and promised to attend King’s Castle Dream Center.
